The primary objective of this project was to begin a systematic inventory of the herpetofauna within the boundaries of the King’s Mountain National Military Park. Specific goals included: (1) begin the process of developing an accurate list of reptile and amphibian species inhabiting the park through a one-year inventory, and (2) provide information relevant to the distribution of reptiles and amphibians among the various habitats within the park.
