This inventory is part of a larger effort to document avian distribution, relative abundances, species richness, and diversity in PORE and GOGA. Results are based on four baywide counts of waterbirds conducted from boats, and seven baywide counts conducted from shore. Abundance of gulls are excluded because of difficulties in counting large numbers of transient birds and identifying to species.
