A Small Mammal Survey at Big Lagoon

Survey prepared for the National Park Service of small mammals at Big Lagoon at Muir Beach, Marin County. Small mammals were live-trapped in wetland, pasture, riparian and dune areas. Four species of small mammals were detected: western harvest mouse (Reithrodontomys megalotis), deer mouse (Peromyscus maniculatus), California vole (Microtus californicus), and roof rat (rattus rattus).
