Springs seeps, and natural ponds in arid regions provide critical water and food resources to wildlife, livestock, and humans; they are point sources of biodiversity and bioproductivity; and they are the focus of human activities, regional history, and land and wildlife management. This is an overview of the scientific studies over the last century for the natural water sources of the Arizona Strip.
