This is a survey of the amphibians and reptiles of the Magnolia and Oakland Plantation Units of Cane River Creole National Historic Park. The field sampling for this amphibian and reptile survey was conducted biweekly for the most part, beginning on December 4, 2001 and terminating on March 13, 2003. The fieldwork recorded thirteen herpetozoan species at or near the Magnolia Plantation Unit: three frogs/one toad, three turtle, four lizard, and two snake species. No federal or state threatened or endangered species were found within the park. Voucher specimens were collected if possible of all species encountered for both the Magnolia and Oakland Units. Those vouchers will be housed at the Louisiana State University's Museum of Zoology in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
