We compared fish fauna diversity, herptile diversity, water quality parameters, and macroinvertebrate diversity of a cold water fishery, Braddock's Run, to a warm water fishery, Great Meadow Run. The study sites were located on Fort Necessity National Battlefield in the Meadow Run high quality watershed. We determined diversity of fish fauna, herptile, and water quality using the Shannon Index of Diversity and the Shannon-Weaver Diversity Index for mocroinvertebrates. The tests concluded that there was no difference in diversity of herptiles, macroinvertebrates, or water quality. There was, however, a significant difference between fish diversity and abundance between the two streams, with a greater diversity and abundance in Braddock's Run.
