The final technical report for the Vital Signs Water Quality Monitoring, containing methods and results for each of the aquatic areas monitored within Yellowstone National Park. This document reports on compilation, analysis, and evaluation of existing water quality data collected from water bodies in Yellowstone National Park and surrounding area. Much of these data are stored in the EPA STORET database. The objectives of the study were to: 1) catalog the existing water quality data for YELL from the EPA-STORET database; 2) supplement these data with additional data as it became available; 3) review all the data for their utility in determining the status and trends in park water quality; 4) determine the status and trends and the range of variability in water quality at YELL; and 5) identify and prioritize water quality monitoring needs in accordance with the goals of the Vital Signs monitoring program.
