This is an account of a reforestation technique to establish ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) seedlings by planting recently germinated seeds. Planting took place in areas 'devoid of seed trees as a result of the 1977 La Mesa fire in Bandelier National Monument'. The report includes monthly weather data for the Los Alamos area during 1982 and 1983.
