Size, abundance, and growth rate data of fish species are reported from South (Lower) Shoe Lake, Alger County, in the Inland Buffer Zone of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Michigan. Just two species were caught/observed using four Fyke nets and one experimental gill net (five net nights): Ictalurus nebulosus (brown bullhead) and Perca flavescens (yellow perch). Temperature profile of lake water was recorded, and pH of lakewater was 5.2. Fish parasite, Neascus sp. was noted.
