As a result of 1986 Apex Houston oil spill off the central California coast, 6,300 Common Murres died. As a result the Apex Houston Trustee Council was established to conduct the restoration project. This report summarizes the results for year seven (Federal Fiscal Year 2002) of the scientific and environmental education programs which make up the Common Murre Restoration Project.
