From the Abstract: "A second summer's survey was conducted for the federally listed Oregon Silverspot butterfly in northwestern Olympic National Park, based on a sight report by lepidopterist Dr. Lars Crabo. Two site visits were conducted during the peak flight season in reasonably favorable weather supported last year's conclusions, that the sighting was probably in error. Additional field work deomonstrated the presence of a species that could have been confused for the silverspot nearer than previously recorded. Further field work was conducted on the Makah Copper butterfly, including location of a new colony, confirmation of larval host and alternate nectar sources, and observation of predation."
