Excerpts from the Introduction: "This is the 2002 NRCS Plant Materials Centers annual progress report on cooperative project agreements between the National Park Service and the Natural Resources Conservation Service, formerly the Soil Conservation Service. These projects relate to development of native plant materials for park roads and restoration projects. The NPS and NRCS have been cooperating in testing and increasing of native plants under a Memorandum of Understanding and Interagency Agreement since 1989. The NRCS Plant Materials Centers have prepared two types of reports. 1) Brief One Page Summary (attached) and 2) A comperehensive Annual Technical Report."
