Excerpts from the Introduction: "Stillwater Sciences, under contract to SRL and the California Coastal Conservancy, developed the following Interim Management Recommendations (IMR) to guide protection, restoration, and public use of the Mill Creek property until the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) adopts a General Management Plan for the area. Analyses and recommendations assume a 10-year interim period. Management priorities are expected to be refined as new information and funding become available. The intent of this document is to (1) synthesize existing resource information and (2) provide recommendations that can be used by DPR to develop appropriate management actions and complete the formal analysis of alternatives necessary to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and related legislation."
