Bald Eagles at Snag Lake 1982

Beall K and Cooney C. 1982. Bald Eagles at Snag Lake 1982

Direct from publication, "One observer spent three mid-morning hours at the Snag Lake nest site on June 22, 1982. Two bald eagles were sighted. An immature flew in from the north, circled the lake, perched briefly on the west shore, and flew off over the forest on the east shore. About 25 minutes later, an adult flew in from the north. This individual immediately perched in the top of a flat-topped pine on the south shore, and did not move from that perch for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The only activity observed was preening."
