This Bandelier National Monument Resource Management Plan (RMP) describes, documents, and prioritizes resource management issues, problems, and actions needed to protect cultural and natural park resources and to meet stated objectives in the years 1994 through 1996. The RMP summarizes the purpose and values of the park and provides the basis for making budget requests and for measuring accomplishments against specific, documented goals and commitments. The RMP is intended for use primarily by the park, region and WASO staffs; however, it is also a public document. The RMP is dynamic and will be reworked as information and expertise is advanced.
