During March-May, 2004, major accomplishments for the Glacier National Park bighorn sheep research project included: (1) completion of biannual counts and age/sex classifications, (2) recovery of 9 radio collars from animals in the Many Glacier and Saint Mary areas, (3) deployment of 10 additional collars in the Many Glacier, Two Medicine, and Autumn Cr. areas, and (4) collection and analysis of fecal samples, to be used for estimating age-specific pregnancy rates.
