The Marin Municipal Water District conducted coho salmon spawner surveys on Lagunitas Creek. During the surveys a total of 203 redds and 568 live coho were observed. This study found that this year's spawning run was stronger than last year's run but not as strong as the 1996-1997 and 1997-1998 runs. This report found that improvements made to Roy's Dam on San Geronimo Creek in 1999 to improve fish passage were highly successful.
