This report contains the results of a coho and steelhead population survey done on Redwood Creek in 2000. This report concluded that the 2000 year class of juvenile coho in Redwood Creek was very weak and confined mostly to the upper reaches of the stream. This was also found to be true in San Mateo and Santa Cruz County streams. This is most likely due to previous drought and flood impacts. Young-of-year steelhead showed abundance and yearling steelhead were more abundant than usual.
