The report is the results of the first year of a two year mesocarnivore survey in the Klamath and Central Sierra Regions of California. The objects of the research are 1) improving parameter estimates for a simulation model used to plan a statewide monitoring program for fishers, and 2) developing multi-scale habitat models for fisher, and for other species of mesocarnivores.
