Objective: To identify and evaluate and report upon the biological, recreational and economic impacts upon the high lake trout fishery resources in Lassen Volcanic, Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks in California that will result from the application and implementation of the National Park Service general fishery management policies that provide for recreational angling based upon trout populations maintained entirely by natural reproduction and that eliminate the stocking of hatchery reared trout to maintain or supplement trout populations at a fishable level in waters in which recruitment by natural reproduction is limited or lacking.
