The black bear research section was excluded from this report, as no black bear research was proposed or initiated within RNSP during 2003. The management section summarizes all important bear sightings and incidents, bear related meetings and education efforts, funding, known mortalities, and fiscal year 2004 priorities for black bear management within RNSP."
