Taken directly from abstract; "The gut contents of 12 adult Dicamptodon ensatus contained the remains of nine mammals, one lizard, two salamanders, large-sized land invertebrates and much debris. Captive salamanders were voracious and had a formidable bite. In certain situations adult Dicamptodon may be important predators of small vertebrates and large terrestrial invertebrates."
