This report details the progress of the northern Rocky Mountain wolf restoration effort to re-establish self-sustaining populations of gray wolves in northwest Montana, Greater Yellowstone Area, and central Idaho. It focuses on the status of Idaho wolves and their distribution, reproduction, mortality, and dispersal. Wolf management issues such as capture and radio-collaring, livestock depredation, livestock conflict resolution, and litigation are also discussed.
