Carrying capacity and limiting habitat analysis for coho salmon in streams of northwestern California
Manning DJ, Roelofs TD, Trush WT. 1996. Carrying capacity and limiting habitat analysis for coho salmon in streams of northwestern California. Department of Fisheries and Institue for River Ecosystems; Humboldt State University. Arcata, CA
Taken from summary; "The data collected between March and September 1995 represents the completion of 3 phases of the project. Downstream migrant traps were operated on all five streams. Summer habitat inventories were conducted on all five streams and summer population estimates were generated on four of the five streams. The results of a partial data analysis are included. Two crucial phases of the project, 1996 winter habitat inventories and smolt trapping, are pending at this time. Estimates of carrying capacity and limiting habitat depend on the completion of these phases. The following is an accounting of the work completed on each stream."
