The purpose of this briefing is to document the effort to locate pygmy rabbits at 3 potential sites within Craters of the Moon National Monument and preserve (CRMO) during the winter of 2003/2004. No evidence of pygmy rabbits was found, but a large amount of background information and recomendations for furture surveys are included in the report.
