In 2001 and 2002 Palolo [Palola (Eunice) viridis] surveys were taken in Tutuila Island (south coast) of American Samoa. Sampling protocols entailed counting fishing participants in order to evaluate the fishing efforts and interviewing the fishermen to estimate the catch per unit effort. A table showing the comparison between survey results obtained during the 1990, 1991, 2001 and 2002, a map and color photos if palola are included.
