This study deals with the issue of public accessibility of scientific research and data in American Samoa. A web-based GIS called the American Samoa Benthic Viewer (ASBV) allows users to access spatial data from the coral reefs in American Samoa with either an English or Samoan interface. Includes general site architecture.
