This report details the biological assessment and annual bird census carried out at Craters of the Moon National Monument (CRMO) from May 8 to June 19 of 1993. Bird censuses began at CRMO in 1988 as part of an ongoing effort to assess the biological value, richness, uniqueness and health of the area. This season a bird identification skills evaluation was implemented in an effort to eliminate the possible influence skill level may have on data.
