Final frontcountry development plan
US National Park Service, Kenai Fjords National Park and Preserve. 1996. Final frontcountry development plan. NPS D-25. National Park Service. Denver, CO
As a result of public review of the Draft Frontcountry Development Concept Plan (DCP)/Environmental Assessment (EA) for Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska, September 1995, the NPS will proceed with the design of a multi-agency administrative and visitor facility. The facility site is yet to be determined, although both sites #3 and #15 as described in the draft plan (Visitor Center Alternatives D&E) will be considered. The NPS determined that final site selection will depend on the number of partners, available lands, complexity of the structure, and parking availability. The plan for Exit Glacier will be as described in the draft document under Alternative C. A finding of no significant impact was signed in March 1996. The text of that finding begins on page 21.
