The purpose of the bibliography is to provide National Park Service managers with a topical list of investigations on white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus spp.) that focuses on readily accessible sources elucidating deer ecology, with particular emphasis on the potential for these animals to affect the environments in which they live. Given the rapid rate at which such information is accumulating, we intend for this bibliography to serve as only a temporary resource, sufficient for the next few years
