Data are provided on two additional young of Euderma maculatum from West Texas born in captivity. Ecological and life history information is given on maternal and baby behavior and on other spotted bats. These bats were in the Lower Sonoran Life Zone of the Chihuahuan Desert, indicating that this species is a normal summer resident of the rocky canyons and cliffs of the area. Birth for the spotted bat in West Texas is normally early June
