Stomach Analyses of the Crevice Spiny Lizard (Sceloporus poinsetti)

Twenty-three specimens of Sceloporus poinsetti were collected near K-Bar, Big Bend National Park, Texas. Analysis of stomach contents showed: Orthoptera, 42%, the most important food item; plant material, 25%; and Hymenoptera, 14%.
