Trip report: Brand resights of Steller sea lions in Southeast Alaska and Northern British Columbia from 13 June-3 July, 2001

The primary purpose of the trip was to conduct an extensive survey of rookeries and haulout sites throughout Southeast Alaska (SE) and Northern British Columbia (BC) to resight Steller sea lions (Eumetopias jubatus) branded as pups at the Forrester Island complex during 1994 and 1995. A secondary objective included collecting resight data on Steller sea lions branded as pups at Sugarloaf and Marmot Islands during June 2000 and on Steller sea lions branded as juveniles during a capture trip during May 2001 in SE Alaska.
