The report lists and comments on the rare plant and animals species in eleven Texas National Park Service lands.The document is divided into three Parts and three Appendices. Part I lists the Managed Area Basic Records and Site Basic Record Equi-site records or national parks. Part II lists rare species documented on National Park Service areas in Texas, presented by Texas areas, along with the G/S rank for each. Part III lists rare species not documented as occurring, but potentially occurring on National Park Service areas in Texas, based on expert opinion. In Appendix 1, there is a discussion of globally rare plant species not documented as occurring, but potentially occurring on National Park Service areas in Texas, based on expert opinion. In Appendix 2, there is a discussion of globally rare animal species documented as occurring, or potentially occurring, on selected National Park Service areas in Texas, based on sources cited and expert opinion. Appendix 3 lists literature cited.
