This paper reports the possible occurrence of ovulation in yearling lesser scaup during the summers of 1960 and 1961 in the Tetlin-Northway region of east-central Alaska. Since 1955, banding operations and production studies on waterfowl of this region have been conducted by personnel of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. All adults, yearlings, and juveniles were banded.
