United States Geological Survey - Biological Resources Division. Data on disturbance responses of Astragalus oniciformis.

Popovich SJ and Pyke DA. 1992. United States Geological Survey - Biological Resources Division. Data on disturbance responses of Astragalus oniciformis.

Data were collected in the mid-1990's from numerous detailed study plots to describe the disturbance responses in plant communities and Astragalus oniciformis to wildfire and wildfire rehabilitation vegetation treatments. Several sites occur in areas administered by the BLM within CRMO. Data have been only cursorily analyzed. Includes informal species lists from some study sites. Results suggest that the plant can withstand most disturbances, but that indirect effects from habitat alteration/conversion to annual weedy rangeland may be deleterious in the long-term.
