This report presents results through the sixth year of an interagency study of the dynamics of a hunted brown bear population and makes comparisons with work conducted in the early 1970's near Black Lake on the Alaska Peninsula. During the current study, 114 bears have been captured a total of 147 times. During 1970-75, 344 different bears were captured 502 times.
