Point counts were conducted from June 13 to July 1, 1994 to establish a database on the relative abundances of neotropical migrant landbirds in Isle Royale National Park, Michigan. Transects were established along six of the park trails, with a total of 75 points among eight different habitats using the stratified random sampling method. Each point was visited for one 10-minute period. A total of 1008 birds comprising 56 species were identified. Simpson's Index was used to calculate diversity values for each transect and habitat.
