From Introduction: "The purpose of this biological assessment (BA) is to review the proposed Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP or "park") action, Port Orford Cedar Management, in sufficient detail to determine if the action may affect any threatened or endangered species and/or their critical habitats." This is in accordance with a Section 7 informal consultation. Determination: may affect but is not likely to adversely affect the northern spotted owl and fisher; could adversely affect the mardon skipper; would not affect McDonald's rock-cress, the marbled murrelet, nor marbled murrelet critical habitat. It is recommended that the Little Bald Hills Trail route be adjusted to reduce the risk of spreading POC root disease. Includes maps.
