Scruggs MA. 2000. To: Scruggs MA and Superintendents--Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Zion National Park, and Intermountain Support Office. Re: Results of 1999 ozone injury surveys

This report from the Air Resources Division documents the ozone concentrations effect on vegetation in Bryce Canyon NP, Cedar Breaks NM and Zion NP. This report discusses the results and implication of foliar injury surveys. The surveys focused on readily accessible sites; sites where species are known to be sensitive to ozone; and sites that had environmental conditions that increase the likelihood of ozone uptake. Photos of likely ozone injury are included. Memorandum to: Superintendents--Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Zion National Park, and Intermountain Support Office
