Decision memo - East Fork Timber Stand improvement/management ignited fire
Guillette CP. 2001. Decision memo - East Fork Timber Stand improvement/management ignited fire. USDA Forest Service, Dixie National Forest. Panguitch UT
Based on the analysis of potential impacts, historical data, and previous experience, it was decided that implementing the East Fork Timber Stand improvement/management ignited fire project will have no significant effect on the social, biological, or physical components of the human environment. The proposed action includes tree density reduction, removal of dwarf-mistletoe infested trees, encouragement of personal fuel or post and pole gathering, and ignition of a low to moderate severity management ignited fire (coordinated closely with Bryce Canyon National Park).
