The Vanikoro Swiftlet is currently listed federally as an endangered species. It can be found on Guam, Saipan and Aquijan of the Mariana Islands. This recovery plan discusses the need to manage the known active swiftlet caves, conduct research, develop reintroduction techniques, and monitor populations, with the recovery objective in mind to downlist this species to threatened.
