This is the second of a series of three reports on the history of fish and fishing in streams and lakes located on the west slope of the Continental Divide in Glacier National Park in Montana from south to north. A general description of the west slope fish and waters, and of changes in procedure in writing these reports, was presented in the introduction of Review Report No. 6 for U n i t 6 - The Middle Fork Fishery Management Unit, issued April 26, 1968. Although the writer retired from active duty as a fishery biolqgist w i t h the Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife on April 30, 1968, the Park Service has made it possible for him to complete the final two reports on Units 7 and 8.
