From the Abstract: "Megalaria brodoana ... sp. nov. ... is described from western North America (British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon). ... Megalaria brodoana occurs in humid, coastal forests along with a high number of oceanic lichens. The main phorophyte is Alnus rubra. The circumscription of the genus is Megalaria is discussed. The combinations Megalaria columbiana ... and M. albocincta ... are made."
