A report on the brief ecological survey conducted in Western Samoa between March 21 and April 4, 1992 to access the effects of Cyclone Val, the most destructive cyclone to hit the islands during this century. Fourteen sites were surveyed and the damage ranged from slight to severe. Results and recommendations are provided in this report.
