During the mid-June low tides, 41 intertidal sites were visited and documented. General station locations are listed in Table 1, along with latitude and longitude for each station. Station locations have been plotted in Arcview and base maps with the ground stations marked are below, in Figures 1 through 7. The field station program was designed to take place in the same tide window as the aerial video survey, and the ground station support vessel Kittiwake II was used, not only as the mobile base for the ground crew, but also to position drums of fuel necessary for the helicopter-based aerial video survey.
