This report is from a Humbolt State University Senior Field Cruise on May 21-22, 2002 that examines the plume at the mouth of the Klamath River. Water samples were taken and temperature, salinity, pH, and total suspended solids were measured at multiple depths. Salinity was found to be the best indicator of the plume location.
