From the Introduction: Makah Fisheries Management installed and operated a rotary screw trap in the Ozette River at the lake outlet from May 13 to June 11 of 2003 and from April 7 to June 1 of 2004. The primary goal was to monitor the outmigration of the ESA listed Lake Ozette Sockeye (LOS) 1+ smolts of both hatchery and natural origin. Other salmonids and resident fish species are also identified and enumerated as encountered."
