A study was conducted at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. The object of this study was to determine what vertebrate species of animals inhabit the park. A species list is produced for all the vertebrates found. Squirrels were the only diurnal vetebrates aside from the birds fouind in the park. The rodents were the most abundant species of vertebrates found in the park. They were not found in the quantity wxpected due to predation by domestic animals The population of vertebrates in the park is declining and should continue to do so as long as people and domestic animals are free to roam the park.
