A study of habitat use and movement patterns of female American black ducks (Anas rubripes) wintering at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Radio telemetry, aerial survey techniques, and direct observation were used to determine saltmarsh, impoundment, natural pool habitats, tidal flat, stream, and shrub wetland habitat use.
